What you get
Every room and every pallet
Ambient, chiller and freezer rooms with the stock on hand in each, by lot and by pallet, and every movement between them recorded. Number the bins in each room (A-01 to A-20 in one go), put each pallet away in one, and print a barcode label for every bin. With your GS1 company prefix, every pallet carries an SSCC printed as a GS1-128 barcode, the number a customer’s receiving dock scans. Put a pallet away by scanning its label and then the bin’s, with a handheld scanner or, where the browser reads barcodes, the phone’s camera.
Earliest date first
Lots carry their best-before date, and picking for an order takes the earliest date first. A stocktake counts each lot in each room.
Your customers’ goods, kept as theirs
Hold goods for your customers alongside your own. Each customer’s products are theirs: received with their own lot codes, shown as theirs on hand, and never offered, priced or sold as yours. A pallet holds one owner’s goods, their goods go out only on their own orders, and a customer whose goods you hold cannot be deleted. Each customer sees theirs in their own portal: what you hold for them, lot by lot and where, and what came in and went out.
Storage and handling, charged per customer
Set each customer’s rates: so much per pallet per week, per pallet in and per pallet out. Overview counts each pallet’s weeks, ins and outs from the stock movements themselves, shows the count pallet by pallet, and puts whole weeks on a draft invoice to the customer, never billing the same week twice.
Shipped, traced and recalled
Stock shipped against the order and proven delivered with a signature and a photo, and a recall report from any one lot.
Invoiced and connected
Invoices with tax and PDFs and reminders at 3, 7 and 14 days, with Xero connected.
